Actress. Humanitarian. Mother. Icon. Audrey Hepburn was all of these things and more. She was born on May 4th, 1929 in Brussels, Belgium and today would have been her 79th birthday. Audrey continues to serve as an inspiration for elegance and grace as well as setting an example with the work she did for UNICEF.
Audrey’s website (run by her family) recently launched a line of Audreybags. They start at $325 and run up to $825. While they’re not the most thrifty purchase, they support a good cause as 100% of the profits go to the Audrey Hepburn Children’s Fund. I personally really like the white bag with her autograph on it for running errands or a day at the beach.
If I sound like I’m obsessed with Audrey Hepburn, it’s because I am! In our apartment, there are two pictures of Audrey; one in the living room and the other on the wall beside the bathroom. My boyfriend and I like the effect of how the picture is blurred when the sliding glass door for the bathroom is open.
In celebration of Audrey, here are a few of my favourite photos of her.

Hi Fadli,
Roman Holiday is a great movie! I love Gregory Peck in the movie as well. Try to rent other Audrey Hepburn movies too and I promise you’ll love all of them – especially Breakfast at Tiffany’s.

I have so many of Audrey’s movies and two biographies about her. I think it’s perfectly fine for all of us to be obsessed with her. She reached out and touched so many people’s lives throughout her life. She’ll remain an icon throughout ours.
